Spooky season is the only season with no official start date. Some people say it begins on October 1. Others say it starts the moment pumpkin spice anything hits a menu, which seems to happen a week earlier every year. Retailers clearly believe it begins in August, and at least one house on your street has had a twelve foot skeleton standing in the yard since Labor Day. However you count it, we are definitely in it now, and our guest host has rounded up the usual suspects. Given the horror movie icon, name their movie franchise:

I am working on polishing automatic scoring, as well as league and global leaderboards and stats. I appreciate your patience while we iron these features out!

Our Story

fiveit started in 2023 as a tiny office trivia game.

Every morning, I would write a set of five questions on my whiteboard. Coworkers would submit their handwritten answers on Post-It notes, playing for bragging rights.

It quickly became the highlight of the day. Arguments over "close enough" answers and "the spirit of the question" went on for hours. Eventually I started keeping score in Excel, added team competitions, and awarded a trophy that traveled around the office to each month's winner.

In 2024, I turned our beloved whiteboard tradition into an email-based game, and in 2026, expanded to the game you see today.
